Job summary

HR Green, a longstanding civil and environmental engineering firm, seeks an entry-level Civil Engineer in Houston, TX. You will contribute to water and wastewater projects under mentorship, learning from a team of experienced engineers.

You will assist with design of pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities, conduct field visits, and coordinate with CAD designers to ensure quality and on-time delivery. This role offers a strong growth path within a national engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited engineering program.
• 0–4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, and basic office software.
• Knowledge and familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil3D preferred.
• Engineer-In-Training certification or ability to obtain within six months.

What will you be doing?

What are we looking for?

• A candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in relevant discipline.
• A candidate with 0 to 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in AutoCAD and Civil3D is preferred.
• Possession of Engineer-In-Training certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months.
