Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required; EIT eligibility within 1 year.
• 0–4 years of transportation engineering experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred).
• Working knowledge of DOT standards and procedures (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with in-person and remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex transportation design projects in Indiana.
• Create horizontal and vertical alignments and develop 3D roadway models.
• Perform calculations for pavement design, traffic, and drainage.
• Prepare design drawings, reports, specs, presentations, and cost estimates.
• Provide construction phase support with shop drawings and submittals.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate roadways and drainage systems.
