- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Engineer in Training certification within 6 months.
- 0–2 years of roadway design experience.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design/build processes.
- Experience with developing technical computations and calculations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline team of engineers on concurrent projects.
- Develop layouts, sketches, plans, specifications, and estimates for roadways and related facilities.
- Assist project managers with coordination among owners, sub-consultants, and clients.
- Demonstrate corridor modeling techniques and problem-solving during design.
- Coordinate with geotechnical, structures, drainage, traffic, and utilities.
- Collect and analyze data from surveys, GIS data, and fieldwork.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to convey findings.
