Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of post-education experience in civil engineering.
• Engineer in Training certification required.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer; familiarity with TDOT guidelines.
• Experience with TDOT and municipal highway projects.
• Strong communication and coordination with agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead project tasks or assist PMs with project coordination for transportation projects.
• Develop 3D design models, calculations, sketches, plans, and estimates for roadways and bridges.
• Analyze survey, GIS, and geotechnical data for design and construction.
• Prepare technical reports and training/workflow documentation.
• Coordinate with regulators and stakeholders to meet design standards and permits.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on infrastructure projects.
