Job summary

Artheon is seeking early-career engineers to join our Civil/Municipal team in Albany, NY. You will contribute to municipal infrastructure design, stormwater management, and transportation projects under mentorship.

We value individuals who are curious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop engineering skills through hands-on project experience and structured mentorship. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to participate confidently in public meetings.
• Interest in municipal engineering and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Review site plans, subdivision and land development applications, and capital improvement projects for compliance with municipal ordinances, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare technical comments, memoranda, and reports for Planning Board and Zoning Board reviews.
• Design support for municipal infrastructure projects, including stormwater, roadways, and water/wastewater systems.
• Create engineering plans, technical specifications, and CAD drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Conduct field visits to observe construction activities and support site inspections.
• Collaborate with inspectors and contractors to understand field implementation of designs.
