Job summary

Artheon is seeking early‑career engineers to join our growing team in support of municipal engineering projects in the New York area. As an Associate Engineer you’ll gain exposure to transportation, water, and infrastructure while learning how projects move from planning and review through construction and completion.

This role emphasizes mentorship, hands‑on experience, and a clear path for career growth through our internal development programs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Civil Engineering or related field
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification or plan to take exam
• Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort with public meetings
• Interest in municipal engineering and working from the Neptune/Tinton Falls, NJ office
• Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Municipal Review & Technical Analysis: review site plans, subdivision and land development applications for compliance with ordinances and regs
• Engineering & Design Exposure: assist with design work on municipal infrastructure projects and prepare plans/specifications
• Construction Administration: support construction‑phase activities and review field conditions
• Team Collaboration & Development: work with experienced engineers and participate in mentorship programs
