Job summary
GreenbergFarrow is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to support planning, design, permitting, and documentation for land development projects. You will assist with engineering plans, calculations, and technical docs under senior staff, gaining proficiency and licensure-ready experience.
The role focuses on residential, commercial, and industrial developments, with exposure to permitting processes and design practices, paving the way for professional growth within GF/Haeger Engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Zero to five years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, land development projects or related coursework preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering plans, exhibits, reports, and supporting calculations under the direction of senior staff.
- Assist with site design activities including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
- Support the preparation of permit applications and agency submittals.
- Review plans to ensure consistency with project requirements and standards.
- Develop understanding of codes, regulations, and design practices.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software to prepare project documents.
