Job summary

Greenberg Farrow Architecture Incorporated in Schaumburg, IL seeks an Entry Level Civil Engineer to assist with planning, design, permitting, and documentation for land development projects. You will prepare engineering plans, calculations, and technical documentation under senior staff guidance, while developing proficiency in permitting processes and design practices.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree (EIT preferred) and up to five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Zero to five years of civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering plans, exhibits, reports and calculations under supervision.
• Assist site design activities including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Support permit applications and agency submittals.
• Review plans for consistency with project requirements and standards.
