Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer I to support the planning, design, and execution of EPC projects across power generation, renewable energy, BESS, substations, and transmission infrastructure. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience alongside experienced engineers in civil and structural design for essential energy infrastructure.

You will assist with site investigations, grading, drainage, and project documentation while working toward Engineer-in-Training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0–2 years of civil engineering experience.
• EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to travel periodically for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of civil designs for power generation, substations, and transmission projects.
• Support site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and erosion control designs.
• Assist with foundation design and civil calculations for equipment and structures.
• Perform basic earthwork, drainage, hydrology, and site development calculations.
• Support creation of construction drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Assist senior engineers from conceptual design to construction support.
• Track tasks and maintain project documentation.
