Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineering intern to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, and plans for infrastructure projects. You will work with the project team to develop concepts, perform calculations, and support delivery with current drawing tools.

You must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or be pursuing one, and be familiar with Microsoft Office; knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or current pursuit
• Experience with engineering principles and design tools is a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office and CAD software is desirable

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned
