Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Tampa, FL is seeking an Engineering intern to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, reports, plans, and specifications for assigned projects. You will work with the project team to develop conceptual and detailed designs using current tools.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and familiarity with MS Office plus MicroStation or AutoCAD. A Master’s degree and EIT are preferred for candidates pursuing advanced credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Master's degree in Engineering and EIT certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned
