Job summary

HNTB in Houston, TX is seeking a talented engineer intern to support design calculations and technical reports for diverse infrastructure projects. You will work with project teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs using current tools.

This position is available to current/former HNTB Interns only. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with familiarity in MicroStation or AutoCAD and strong organizational skills to support multiple project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering is required.
• Experience with design calculations and technical reports is expected.
• Familiarity with design software supports project execution.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work within schedule and hours.
• Support preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assist in preparing project quantity and cost estimates.
• Provide organizational support for design files to engineering teams.
• Support teams with research, data collection, field investigations, and design tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
