Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Registration as an E.I.T. is preferred.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills are desired.
• Flexibility to work on highways, bridges and tunnels and varied schedules may be needed.
• Masters Degree preferred and Internship experience are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Design of new bridges.
• Design for bridge rehabilitation projects.
• Development of bridge maintenance and repair plans.
• Performing load ratings for bridges.
• Design of transit structures.
• Bridge and tunnel inspection and evaluation.
• Various tunnel engineering support services.
• Preparation of construction plans and specifications.
• Preparation of cost estimates and schedules.
