Job Summary

Unique opportunity to work at a design center for a company that manufactures its own product. We're seeking a Civil Engineer who is organized, a strong communicator, and eager to learn building design/build and pursue structural estimating. Candidates should have a technical degree and the ability to have difficult conversations with external customers, vendors, and internal teams. This role offers the chance to start with learning structural estimating and explore various career paths such as structural design, project management, leadership, drafting, and more. Note: you must be able to work in the United States without present or future visa sponsorship. Relocation assistance provided!

Location: Bloomington, Illinois

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $65,000 - 80,000 per year

Work Hours: 8am to 4pm

Education: Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities:

1. Design projects with accuracy and within given timeframes.
2. Lead estimating project costs and pricing from structural design.
3. Manage projects through effective communication and documentation with leadership, customers, and teammates.
4. Assist in project meetings, estimating, and R&D as requested.

Requirements:

• BS Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills, team-player mindset, and leadership qualities.
