Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or related coursework a plus.
• 0–2 years in admin, logistics, or supply chain support preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with good follow-through.
• Basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems (training provided).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to learn procurement processes and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with suppliers on open purchase orders to confirm delivery dates, shipment status, and order acknowledgments.
• Serve as a liaison between the company and suppliers for order-related communication.
• Support Manufacturing and Planning by addressing material availability and escalating risks.
• Assist Buyers in expediting critical materials to support production schedules.
• Track and report late orders, shortages, and potential delivery risks.
• Update ERP with accurate supplier commits, delivery dates, and order status notes.
• Help resolve basic discrepancies related to quantities, delivery dates, and receipts.
• Assist Accounts Payable by gathering information for invoice discrepancies when needed.
• Maintain organized records of supplier communications and updates.
• Participate in daily/weekly cross-functional meetings to align priorities.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and maintenance of purchasing and supplier data in ERP systems.
• Support KPIs like on-time delivery and material availability.
