The University of Miami Information Technology & Systems Department seeks a full-time Business Systems Analyst 1 in Coral Gables, FL. You will gather requirements, analyze processes, and support technology plans to improve performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

As part of IT Solutions under the IT Strategy and User Experience unit, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders, document business needs, and help implement enterprise systems across ITS and the university.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Certifications in CBAP, CCBA, PMP, Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Learning agility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
• Teamwork and ability to collaborate with others in a team environment.
• Technical proficiency with office software and related tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Develops a detailed action plan with goals and target dates and obtains approvals.
• Maintains ongoing communication with managing staff.
• Creates flowcharts comparing current versus improved processes.
• Prepares time and cost estimates for projects and proposals.
• Conducts research for best practice models and benchmarking.
• Applies process design, optimization, forecasting, and supply chain principles to improve systems.
• Analyzes flow of people, activities, and materials; staffing and space utilization.
• Designs improved work systems by revising standards, policies, and procedures.
• Designs systems for production and inventory control across operations.
• Assists with facilities and management systems design and SOPs.
• Develops management control systems for financial planning and cost analysis.
• Improves productivity through technology and human factors.
• Assists with supply chain standards across the institution.
• Collects data to measure baselines and improvements; presents findings.
• Prepares project presentations including data, methods, results, and savings.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and adheres to policies.
• Supports IT Strategy and User Experience unit in delivering enterprise services.
