Job summary

All Things Metal Industries seeks a Jr. Business Development & Estimating Associate to support estimating, proposal prep, customer engagement, marketing initiatives, and sales coordination while developing skills for growth into a Business Development Associate role.

The role emphasizes on-site work in Surprise, AZ with 7am–4pm schedule; DOE wage range reflects local market and industry expectations, including benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recent schooling in a or 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales support, estimating, project coordination, marketing, customer service, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to analyze information and develop professional proposals and presentations.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
• Not required, but a plus: Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Experience preparing estimates, budgets, proposals, bids
• Experience in construction, industrial services, engineering, manufacturing, energy, or related industries.
• Knowledge of sales pipeline management and lead generation processes.
• Experience coordinating marketing initiatives, trade shows, or industry events.
• Familiarity with project management or sales operations processes.

Responsibilities

• Estimating & Proposal Development: Assist with estimates and budgets; prepare proposal documents and customer-facing presentations; coordinate information for proposals; maintain templates; track status.
• Business Development Support: Maintain CRM records, opportunity tracking, and reports; assist with customer outreach and meetings.
• Marketing & Industry Engagement: Coordinate trade shows; assist with marketing materials, case studies, and content; support digital initiatives.
• Sales Operations & Coordination: Track action items; coordinate information between teams; maintain records; prepare reports and performance metrics; help improve sales processes.
