Job summary

TCOM in Columbia, MD seeks a data-focused professional to bridge business and technical teams, translating requirements and developing applications and solutions.

You will visualize business performance, analyze data, and document processes while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. A strong foundation in SQL/Power BI/Tableau is preferred along with a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, business, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years related experience, or experience in lieu of education.
• Basic proficiency in data visualization and dashboarding tools expected.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to understand drivers of business performance and create tools and processes to visualize progress towards key goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, translate, and document business and/or technical requirements.
• Identify, document, and standardize data flows and promote their use within the business.
• Create documentation for processes and procedures.
• Conduct or organize testing/validation of processes and procedures.
• Measure and monitor project/solution performance.
• Initiate corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure visibility and communication related to the project/solution.
• Collect feedback for improvements.
• Maintain complete and accessible documents.
• Promote our quality management system per ISO standards.
