Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with NYC government programs preferred.
• Understanding of requirements gathering, functional analysis, and SDLC.
• Experience with UAT, test cases, defect management, and documentation.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and system requirements from business stakeholders.
• Support analysis of processes, applications, and workflows.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional documentation.
• Assist with UAT, test case preparation, defect tracking, and validation.
• Analyze data and assist with identifying data quality and process issues.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, project managers, and business users.
• Participate in requirements meetings, walkthroughs, and status discussions.
• Support production issues, change requests, and enhancement initiatives.
• Maintain clear documentation and track requirements through implementation.
