Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Torrance, CA, (HYBRID)

Pay rate: $ 30-35

The candidate will work as an entry-level business analyst and develop, lead, and deliver small to medium business initiatives that benefit internal and external customers. They will represent and advocate for the business process development with a primary focus on the collections domain. Their primary responsibilities will include:

• Serve as the first point of contact for Collections field office inquiries, providing timely acknowledgment, ongoing communication, and resolution support.
• Manage and prioritize inbox support, ensuring inquiries are addressed within established service expectations.
• Research, analyze, and resolve operational, procedural, and system-related issues by partnering with internal stakeholders and technical teams.
• Develop business requirements, process documentation, and other business-related deliverables for small to medium-sized initiatives.
• Create, document, and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, test cases, and scripts for system and process enhancements.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, management, technical teams, and vendors while providing clear and professional communication.
• Researching and mapping business processes and developing/updating process flows.
• Working with internal stakeholders, technical staff, and vendors to resolve system issues.
• Processing and reconciling monthly vendor invoices.
• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that support Collections Operations.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration or similar preferred.

Experience

• Recent college graduate or 0-1 year of work experience; Business Analyst / Captive finance, automotive finance, or banking experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to prioritize and work efficiently

Software/Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with Microsoft Copilot and the ability to leverage this tool to improve productivity, research complex issues, and identify solutions for recurring business challenges.
