Job summary

Powerhouse in Crowley, TX is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our team on a hybrid schedule. You will clean, model, and analyze data to automate reporting using Power BI and Excel, supporting financial processes.

You’ll collaborate with Finance and Accounting to identify process improvements, develop SQL queries for ad-hoc reports, and contribute to ongoing reporting initiatives. The role emphasizes strong communication and a curiosity-driven approach to learning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or other dashboard tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, or exposure to other data tools (Python, R, etc.).
• Python and Airtable experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate reporting requirements to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Clean, model, and analyze data to automate reporting process via Power BI, Excel, or other data software as necessary.
• Maintain and enhance a Power BI workspace and other forms of Excel-driven automated reporting.
• Collaborate with members within Finance and Accounting to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Develop custom SQL queries to fulfill ad-hoc reporting requirements as requested by management.
• This position is Hybrid and will report in office Tuesday-Thursday.
