Job summary

Powerhouse in Crowley, TX seeks a Junior Business Analyst to join the team. You will clean, model, and analyze data to automate reporting via Power BI, Excel, or other tools, while enhancing Power BI workspaces and Excel-driven dashboards. Collaboration with Finance is essential to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Requirements include a finance/business analytics degree, solid Excel/Power BI skills, basic SQL, and strong communication. Hybrid schedule in office Tue–Thu.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or similar field.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or similar dashboard tools.
• Basic SQL or exposure to Python/R; Python and Airtable preferred.
• Strong communication, able to translate reporting to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative across departments; detail-oriented with organizational skills.
• Curious, initiative-driven, and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

What YOU will do:

• Clean, model, and analyze data to automate reporting process via Power BI, Excel, or other data software as necessary.
• Maintain and enhance a Power BI workspace and other forms of Excel-driven automated reporting.
• Collaborate with members within Finance and Accounting to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Develop custom SQL queries to fulfill ad-hoc reporting requirements as requested by management.
• This position is Hybrid and will report in office Tuesday-Thursday.

What YOU bring:

• Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or other similar dashboard programs.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, or exposure to other data tools (Python, R, etc.).
• Python and Airtable experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate reporting requirements to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning.
