Job summary

Core Specialty is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Program Data Analytics team. You will partner with Program Directors to translate business requirements into actionable insights and ensure data accuracy across delegated authority and underwriting controls.

You will drive reporting, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration. You will bring 3+ years in business analysis, strong Power BI and SQL/KQL skills, and a track record of improving processes through data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline is required.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis roles.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating to data-driven solutions.
• Hands-on Power BI experience and data visualization skills.
• Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data reconciliations to confirm consistency across datasets.
• Analyze data to uncover trends and inform profitability and decisions.
• Design, develop, and maintain reports for stakeholders.
• Partner with Directors to enhance data collection and assess effectiveness.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams to address data issues.
