Job summary

Powerhouse Retail Services LLC is seeking a Junior Business Analyst in Crowley, TX to help clean, model, and analyze data for automated reporting using Power BI and Excel. You will maintain Power BI dashboards and collaborate with Finance to improve processes.

A degree in Finance or Business Analytics is preferred, with experience in SQL, Python, and Airtable welcome. This is a hybrid role with in-office Tue-Thu.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or similar.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI for reporting.
• Basic SQL and familiarity with Python or alternative data tools.

Responsibilities

• Clean, model, and analyze data to automate reporting using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.
• Maintain and enhance Power BI workspace and Excel-driven reports.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to identify process improvements.
• Develop ad-hoc SQL queries for management reporting.
• Role is Hybrid: in-office Tuesday–Thursday.

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our team at our location in Crowley, TX.

What YOU will do:

• Clean, model, and analyze data to automate reporting process via Power BI, Excel, or other data software as necessary.
• Maintain and enhance a Power BI workspace and other forms of Excel-driven automated reporting.
• Collaborate with members within Finance and Accounting to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Develop custom SQL queries to fulfill ad-hoc reporting requirements as requested by management.
• This position is Hybrid and will report in office Tuesday-Thursday.

What YOU bring:

• Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or other similar dashboard programs.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, or exposure to other data tools (Python, R, etc.).
• Python and Airtable experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate reporting requirements to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning.
