The role focuses on building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, Excel-based automation, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance and Accounting. The candidate should have a Finance or Business Analytics background, familiarity with Power BI and Excel, and exposure to SQL or related data tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or similar.
• Strong Excel/BI skills and ability to translate data into insights.
• Basic SQL knowledge or exposure to data tools (Python, R).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean, model, and analyze data to automate reporting via Power BI, Excel, or other data tools.
• Maintain and enhance a Power BI workspace and Excel-driven reports.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to identify process improvements.
• Develop custom SQL queries for ad-hoc reporting as requested by management.
• Hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence Tue-Thu.

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our team at our location in Crowley, TX.

What YOU will do:

• Clean, model, and analyze data to automate reporting process via Power BI, Excel, or other data software as necessary.
• Maintain and enhance a Power BI workspace and other forms of Excel-driven automated reporting.
• Collaborate with members within Finance and Accounting to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Develop custom SQL queries to fulfill ad-hoc reporting requirements as requested by management.
• This position is Hybrid and will report in office Tuesday-Thursday.

What YOU bring:

• Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or other similar dashboard programs.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, or exposure to other data tools (Python, R, etc.).
• Python and Airtable experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate reporting requirements to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning.
