Job summary

• Knowledge of minor maintenance activities as they relate to HVAC, electricity, plumbing, general carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall work schedules as assigned by senior custodian.
• Perform duties maintaining safety, cleanliness and efficiency.
• Clean and light maintenance inside the building and limited exterior areas.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and custodial personnel.
• Maintain inventory of supplies in assigned area.
• Inspect, service and troubleshoot custodial equipment.
• Maintain building security and safety as outlined.
• Build relationships with building users and be approachable.
• Report on building status to senior custodian.
• Attend to additional duties as needed.
