Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of related experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
• Working knowledge of SQL Server (SQL/T-SQL) and relational schemas
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark) for scalable data prep
• Foundational programming skills in Python or R for analysis and ML workflows
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling basics, data quality checks, reproducible pipelines, and version control (Git)
• Experience building visual analytics with Power BI (reports, datasets, semantic models)
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for workflow integration
• Basic familiarity with NLP and Large Language Models and typical data requirements
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and translate mission needs into data requirements

Responsibilities

• Acquire, integrate, and prepare data from multiple sources for operational reporting and readiness analytics
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks with PySpark
• Develop and maintain curated datasets with attention to data quality and lineage
• Optimize data processing performance and monitor recurring workloads
• Apply statistical methods, data mining, and ML to generate insights and forecasts
• Create dashboards and analytical products using Power BI with semantic models
• Support data products in Power Apps and Power Automate
• Prepare and analyze unstructured data for NLP/LLM use cases
• Document data sources, transformations, and methodologies for transparency
