UB Associates, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Biller / Mailroom Assistant to support the revenue cycle team with billing processes and administrative tasks in an on-site setting in Buffalo, NY.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience and a path for growth within a team-focused healthcare environment. Responsibilities include charge entry, claim submission, follow-up on denials, and maintaining organized records.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or healthcare-related coursework preferred.
• 0–2 years healthcare, billing, or administrative experience preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with strong organizational skills encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with charge entry, claim preparation and submission.
• Review claims for basic accuracy prior to submission.
• Post payments, adjustments and patient transactions.
• Assist with patient statement processing and follow-up on unpaid/denied claims.
• Download, organize superbills and EOBs; maintain filing systems.
• Support general administrative tasks for the billing department.
• Monitor accounts for outstanding balances and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer guidelines; participate in audits.
