Job summary

Albireo Energy in Denver, CO is seeking a Junior Engineer to support the design, documentation, and field execution of Building Automation Systems (BAS). This hands-on role blends engineering design with on-site activity while collaborating with engineering and operations teams.

You will assist with mechanical and electrical circuit design, support control system drawing using AutoCAD, participate in design reviews, field inspections, and prepare technical memos and reports.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Visio or similar drafting tools
• Experience with Bluebeam or equivalent document review software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical and electrical circuit design and participate in design reviews
• Support control system design and drawing development using AutoCAD
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and review of construction plans and specifications
• Support field inspections and testing to verify system performance and compliance with project requirements
• Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
• Participate in field activities including site investigations and on-site observations
• Collect, organize, and document technical data accurately
