Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a qualified Project Coordinator to oversee engineering and field activities on assigned projects, including new construction and renovations in the Gambrills area. Travel within Gambrills MD region is required to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and customers.

You will support the Project Manager, review control sequences, develop shop drawings with BAS engineers, ensure quality of engineering packages, and help forecast revenues while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• 4+ years of equivalent experience including vocational school or a bachelor's in engineering with 2+ years preferred.
• Moderate understanding of building construction methods, HVAC controls, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience writing BAS programs and graphics (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, etc.).
• Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
• Self-starter with initiative and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Manager to complete assigned projects on or before the schedule.
• Demonstrate understanding of project control sequences and scope.
• Collaborate with BAS application engineers to develop shop drawings, submittals, databases, programs, and interfaces.
• Provide QA of engineering packages prior to submission and modify as needed.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and field execution to ensure system functionality.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in project meetings.
