Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a systems designer to produce highly detailed installation diagrams for data center automation and monitoring systems. You will support the central engineering team in design and implementation of strategic projects globally, delivering submittals and detailed drawings for customers and field teams.

You will work under the Hardware Engineering Manager on complex automation projects, coordinating with technicians, programmers, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Autodesk Inventor (2 yrs) training/experience required.
• Drafting and drawing standards knowledge is required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with Revit or BIM modelling.
• Experience with multi-location remote teamwork and client-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer specification packages to determine design factors.
• Create Mechanical and Electrical System models with engineering team.
• Develop layouts, detailed designs, and diagrams for mechanical/electrical systems.
• Draft detailed multi-view drawings of parts and installations.
• Ensure accuracy of drawings, BOMs, files, and engineering records.
• Coordinate submittals with manufacturers and ensure design compatibility.
• Review designs for standards compliance and material selection.
• Supervise and organize documentation and project drawings.
• Communicate progress to project engineer or manager.
