Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is hiring for an Associate Controls Engineer in Cocoa, Florida, servicing the Central Florida area. You will design and program building automation systems, create technical design documents, and develop user interfaces while collaborating with sales to meet customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in construction, industrial, manufacturing or engineering, or an associate degree

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of industry experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing or engineering, OR an Associate degree in an engineering or technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or construction discipline.
• Experience in HVAC controls / BAS design, hardware engineering, or control sequence development; related experience in MEP design or DDC systems considered.

Responsabilidades

• Design and program building automation systems, site-specific control configurations, and control algorithms.
• Adhere to project requirements, technical specifications, and company/customer standards.
• Create, document, and maintain technical design documents and revision logs for project teams.
• Develop graphical and text-based user interfaces for building automation systems.
• Perform pre-implementation testing on control programming and user interfaces.
• Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customer technical requirements are met.
• Identify and communicate project opportunities, risks, and functional testing needs.
