Job summary

The D is seeking a barback to ensure supply levels for the Beverage - Prohibition Bar are maintained and to assist guests and team members as needed. The role involves stocking, restocking garnishes, ice, liquor, wine and beer, and supporting bartenders across shifts.

Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members, multitask during busy periods, and meet all regulatory requirements including age and work-card prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced bar environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain required work cards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking the bar with garnishes, straws and napkins and ensuring bartenders have clean towels.
• Take orders, prepare drinks, buss tables and process payments, especially during peak hours.
• Accurately ring up orders in the POS system and maintain guest interaction.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service standards and manage intoxicated guests as needed.
• Maintain inventory records and assist in reordering and storage of items.
