Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking an Apprentice Bartender to support experienced bartenders and service guests in a fast-paced casino environment. The role emphasizes courteous, professional guest interactions and meticulous bar cleanliness and stocking.

The ideal candidate is 21+, with a High School Diploma and at least six months’ bartending or restaurant experience, strong English communication, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months experience in a similar bar/restaurant setting.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to learn company and department rules, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the bar area.
• Ensure bar is stocked with supplies for service.
• Replenish ice, garnishes, straws, and napkins holders.
• Ensure bar equipment and supplies are clean and functional.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond with urgency.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Adhere to Resorts World core values and standards.
• Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
• Use personal device for job-related tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
