Remote is seeking a Backend Developer to join one of our teams working with US clients. The stack revolves around Python, Django, and TypeScript? However the core here is Python-based backend with Django, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL.

You will collaborate across diverse industries and enjoy the Polish time zone flexibility while delivering scalable solutions. You will write clean Python code, contribute to product improvements, document delivered code, perform peer reviews, and help translate user

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial experience with Python.
• Understand Python fundamentals, type hints, OOP principles, & data structures; write clean, readable code.
• Basic experience with Django; core features like models, views, ORM, migrations.
• Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and Django ORM.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a US client environment.

We are looking for a skillful Backend Developer to join one of our teams working with US clients - referrals from the high-end American IT market.

Our tech stack is built around React, Node.js and TypeScript. We are working with well-established companies and sometimes startups in their early stages (MVPs), which makes the job full of diversity and exciting challenges while crafting cutting-edge solutions.

Your future tasks and duties:

• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured Python code, leveraging AI coding agents while taking full ownership of the final solution
• Technical involvement in the product - finding the ways to improve it
• Writing documentation for delivered code
• Peer code review
• Reuse and improve of the company knowledge base
• Communicate with the team to efficiently translate business complexity (user stories/tasks) into solutions (end results/estimations)
• Learning, learning and learning ;)

About you - Tech skills & Experience:

• At least 6 months of commercial experience with Python
• Understand Python (Python 3.10+) fundamentals, type hints, OOP principles, common data structures, and know how to write clean, readable and maintainable code
• Basic experience with Django - know its core features (models, views, ORM, migrations), worked on at least 1 project involving Django, would be great to have commercial experience in it
• Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Know what OOP is, understand basic good practices and data structures, want to have a SOLID and DRY code with the use of design patterns
• Know how to use AI (Claude Code preferred), but understand the consequences of its use and can independently write code without its support
• Have worked with SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) - can write basic SQL queries and use them alongside Django ORM
• Experience with Git
