Job summary

Remote is seeking a Backend Developer to join teams serving US clients. The stack features React, Node.js and TypeScript.

You’ll work with diverse FinTech, SportsTech and MedTech projects, often MVPs, while enjoying flexibility with the Polish time zone and full-time, remote collaboration. Responsibilities include writing efficient JS/TS, applying solid OOP practices, documenting delivered code, peer reviews, and knowledge-base improvements.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of commercial Node.js experience.
• Solid understanding of ES2018+ JavaScript features and classes.
• Experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify).

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable JS/TS code with OOP principles.
• Review peers' code and contribute to documentation.

Contract summary:

• Rate: PLN 6.000 - 10.000 + VAT (B2B); PLN 6.000 - 8.300 brutto (UZL)

• Contract: B2B/UZL, paid days off, 100% remote (or hybrid/onsite - as you prefer), Polish time zone, Europe-based, flexible hours, full-time position, long-term contract, Scrum Teams and more

Your future tasks:

• Writing personal-best possible JS/TS code with OOP flavour

• Technical involvement in the product - finding ways to improve it

• Writing documentation for delivered code

• Peer code review

• Reuse and improve the company knowledge base

• Communicate with the team to efficiently translate business complexity (user stories/tasks) into solutions (end results/estimations)

About you - Tech skills & Experience:

• At least 6-12 months of commercial experience with Node.js

• Understand basic JS concepts (ES 2018+), use Classes, and follow recent additions/functionalities

• Basic experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (e.g. Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, etc) - know basic APIs/features, worked on at least 1 project involving such technologies, would be great to have commercial experience in it

• Know what OOP is, understand basic good practices and data structures, want to have a SOLID and DRY code with the use of design patterns

• Have worked with SQL database (integration wise) with ORM or query builder tool (ie. Prisma, Knex)

• Know how to use AI, but understands the consequences of its use and can independently write code without its support
