MasterBorn is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join a team serving US clients. The tech stack centers on React, Node.js, and TypeScript, with 100% remote work optional or hybrid/on-site as you prefer.

The role offers long-term projects across FinTech, SportsTech, and MedTech, with flexible hours in the Polish time zone. Responsibilities include writing high-quality JS/TS code, participating in product technical decisions, documentation, peer reviews, and contributing to the knowledge base.

Qualifications

• At least 6-12 months of commercial experience with Node.js.
• Understand basic JS concepts (ES 2018+), use Classes, and follow recent additions/functionalities.
• Basic experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (e.g. Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, etc).
• Know what OOP is, understand basic good practices and data structures, aim for SOLID and DRY code with design patterns.
• Have worked with SQL databases with ORM or query builder (Prisma, Knex).
• Know how to use AI, but understands its consequences and can write code without its support.
• Open-source contributions.
• Experience in TypeScript and various BE frameworks.
• Understand Agile/Scrum and collaborative teamwork.
• Understand MVP significance and deliver top results under tight timelines.
• Know AWS and its usage.
• Serverless experience.
• Know how to run Docker images and use them.

Our tech stack is built around React, Node.js and TypeScript. • Have worked with SQL database (integration wise) with ORM or query builder tool (ie. Prisma, Knex)
• Know how to use AI, but understands the consequences of its use and can independently write code without its support
• Open-source contributions
• Experience in TypeScript and various BE frameworks
• Understand what Agile/Scrum is and want to work as a team towards one goal
• Understand the significance of MVP and aim to deliver top-notch results, even amid tight project timelines
• Know what AWS is and gets why is it used
