Job summary

Lamb's Tire & Automotive, part of Sun Auto Tire & Service, is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician in Texas. You will perform basic repairs, oil changes, tire work, and diagnostics while documenting vehicle conditions on repair orders.

Starting at $15.00–$28.00 per hour with production-based flag hours, this role offers benefits and advancement opportunities within a national automotive network. Must be 18+, hold a driver's license, and be able to obtain a state inspector license where

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Current, valid Driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• State Inspector License preferred where applicable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on experience level.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable following guidelines.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Flexible work schedules, including weekends; other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to Sun Auto's core values and policies.
