Lamb's Tire & Automotive in Texas is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to perform basic diagnostic and repair tasks, including oil changes, tire services, and light maintenance. The role requires 2+ years of prior automotive technician experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a busy shop.

Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $28.00 per hour plus flag hours, with Sundays closed and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous automotive technician experience.
• Able to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Conduct oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Document vehicle condition using multi-point inspection and repair orders.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed.
