Vertiv seeks a motivated Junior Systems Engineer to join its software department in Pelzer, South Carolina. You will help design, configure, test PLC and SCADA systems, and develop software for control and power monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related engineering/computer field.
• Fundamental understanding of PLC programming and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with SCADA, HMI design, and key protocols like Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and Profibus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
• Good written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Assist in design, configuration, and testing of PLC and SCADA systems.
• Develop and validate software for control and power monitoring systems.
• Perform system integration testing for compatibility with switchgear.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot PLC programming, communication protocols, and control systems.
• Prepare technical documentation including configurations, test plans, and manuals.
