Vertiv in Pelzer, SC seeks a BMS Engineer to design and execute temperature control and automation systems, including PLC- and SCADA-based solutions. You will collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop complete design packages for HVAC, access control, lighting, CCTV, and industrial automation applications.

This role requires leadership, sound engineering judgment, and hands-on experience to own projects.

Competenze

Two- or four-year degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
Experience designing control systems for HVAC or industrial automation.
Hands‑on PLC hardware selection, configuration and programming (ladder, function block, structured text).
Experience configuring SCADA/HMI systems including alarms, trends, operator interfaces.
Knowledge of industrial protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP.
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings.
Experience using CAD software.

Mansioni

Develop system layouts and controls designs from documents and specs.
Design PLC architectures, control panels, power distribution, network topology, and I/O assignments.
Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs and SCADA/HMI applications.
Prepare engineering submittals, as‑built drawings, and O&M documentation.
Coordinate submittals and equipment cut sheets; assemble O&M packages.
Ensure designs meet drawings, specs, and constructability."
Develop control and HMI graphics for building automation and SCADA platforms.
Support system commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting with project teams.
