Job summary

Oriental-Bank seeks a Junior Automation Business Architect to design and implement automation solutions across the organization. The role collaborates with the Operational Design & Automation Manager, business users, and technical teams, and reports to Oriental Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities include applying automation lifecycle methodologies, analyzing requirements, building workflows, testing, and ensuring SOX/compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 1+ year of automation, business process improvement, or systems analysis experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply automation development lifecycle methodologies across design, configuration, testing, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of workflows.
• Analyze business requirements to identify opportunities for automation and implement effective solutions.
• Support development, deployment, and maintenance of automation solutions, ensuring alignment with objectives and performance standards.
• Collaborate with operational, technical, and business teams to design, test, implement, and support automation initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with governance, SOX controls, and IT standards.
