Job summary

ORNL Federal Credit Union is seeking an RPA & Automation Developer to design, build, deploy, and support end-to-end automation solutions across business areas. You will analyze processes, create scalable automations, and integrate with core banking and cloud services while ensuring security, resilience, and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on developing workflows, maintaining exception handling and runbooks, and collaborating with IT and business units to deliver reliable automation

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in software development, automation, or similar roles.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-based workflows integrated with SaaS and on-prem apps.
• Familiarity with process analysis, mapping, and translating requirements into automation solutions.
• Experience with connectors/integrations across SaaS and on-prem data sources.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Design, configure, and develop automations using the low-code platform.
• Build, test, and deploy automated workflows and bots interacting with core systems.
• Maintain logging, monitoring, and runbooks for auditable automations.
• Create design and configuration documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business units to meet governance requirements.
• Coordinate testing (unit, integration, UAT) with minimal disruption.
• Follow regulatory and internal policy requirements in automation work.
