Job summary

Amazon Leo in San Diego is seeking a Junior ASIC Design Verification Engineer to define and verify digital SOCs for low-Earth orbit communications. You will implement verification environments, write C/C++ tests, and develop FPGA/emulation tests while performing formal verification.

You will collaborate with design and systems teams, use UVM and SystemC, and require a BS in CS/CE/EE with 2+ years in verification and 1+ years in C/C++. Master’s or PhD and Matlab familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years in verification, preferably in communication systems.
• 1+ years in UVM, C/C++ and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Implement a state of the art verification environment to test RTL against reference Matlab/C models.
• Develop tests in C/C++ to execute on embedded CPU; run regressions and report progress.
• Develop tests for FPGA and emulation platforms; perform formal verification of complex blocks.
