Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or currently completing an accredited architecture program.
• Previous architectural internship or junior designer experience preferred.
• Experience conducting field surveys and documenting existing building conditions.
• Understanding of architectural plans, elevations, demolition drawings, and construction documents.
• Familiarity with zoning and building-code-related research and documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and building representatives.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of existing buildings and spaces, including measurements and documenting conditions.
• Translate field measurements into accurate architectural drawings and existing-condition plans.
• Prepare drawing sets including demolition plans, construction plans, floor plans, elevations, and related documentation.
• Assist with zoning studies and documentation to evaluate project requirements and compliance.
• Develop and coordinate electrical and plumbing diagrams as part of architectural drawing packages.
• Participate in site visits during construction to review progress and design intent.
• Document field conditions, construction progress, and coordination issues.
• Collaborate with architects and professionals during schematic design and design development.
