We work with an international and diverse clientele, guiding our clients through the entire project—from feasibility studies to specifying items from finishing to furniture—culminating in an elegant, custom, prefabricated home.

We are seeking an eager full-time in-office Junior Architectural Designer looking for a chance to learn, grow, and benefit from a myriad of mentors, in our Somerville, Massachusetts, office. The successful candidate is interested in helping us push the envelope on what an architecture practice can be—prioritizing people, efficiency, and design.

Example responsibilities:
  • Prepare client, builder, fabricator, and installer-facing documentation and drawings from Schematic Design through Product Procurement and Installation.
  • Perform regulatory research and create digital site models to illustrate them and existing conditions, using advanced site scanning technology.
  • Develop processes for leveraging emerging technology to streamline the fabrication of custom cabinetry.
  • Create compelling imagery for both marketing and to help our clients through the visualization and specification selection process.
  • Work as a member of our Creative Team to support the firm’s design, fabrication, and marketing goals.
  • A professional degree in Architecture
  • 1-5 years of professional architecture work experience
  • Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency with rendering software—experience with Lumion is preferred.
  • Experience with LayOut, Mozaik, and Revit is preferred
A strong candidate is:
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Committed to quality
  • Someone who has a pride of authorship and strong communication skills—written, verbal, and graphic
  • Identifying problems and working with others to find creative solutions
  • Working independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Multi-tasking and maintaining focus on a variety of project types
The perks and benefits:
  • In-office mentorship from experienced professionals
  • 401k plan with employer matching
