Position Summary

Arcadis DPS is seeking a talented Architectural Designer with strong skills in design software and an interest in serving the life sciences industry in the Philadelphia area.

Key Responsibilities

1. Proficiency in engineering design software / BIM (Revit, CAD).
2. Develop specialized design experience working with a team of life sciences experts.
3. Apply graphical standards to contract drawings.
4. Research building materials and construction detailing.
5. Understand technical applications of building materials.
6. Collaborate with design teams and follow senior team directions.
7. Develop presentations and construction documentation.
8. Ensure compliance with zoning and building codes, and coordinate contract documentation.
9. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
10. Coordinate work with engineering teams.
11. Generate, update, and maintain architectural design drawings using BIM.
12. Visit client sites for information gathering.
13. Coordinate with material vendors.

Education & Experience

1. Bachelor of Architecture degree.
2. Experience with Autodesk Revit is a plus.
3. Experience in Life Sciences Facility Design is a plus.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vision, or Office 365.
