Job summary

USA Water seeks an Application Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to learn software, solve business problems, and collaborate with teams across the organization while gaining hands-on exposure to our enterprise systems, data workflows, and user support processes.

You will help implement and support business applications from planning through go-live, configure and test systems, train users, create guides, and contribute to process

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in application support, business systems, IT support, business analysis, or related fields (internships count).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of new business applications from planning through go-live.
• Assist with system configuration, testing, data validation, user training, and post-implementation support.
• Provide day-to-day support for business applications by troubleshooting user issues and managing help desk tickets.
• Set up user accounts, maintain system configurations, and assist with application upgrades.
• Work with business teams to understand workflows and help improve business processes.
• Create user guides, training materials, and system documentation.
• Help onboard newly acquired companies onto USA Water’s standard technology platforms.
• Assist with IT projects and identify opportunities to improve system performance and user experience.
