Job summary

MDC Precision is hiring a Junior Software & Web Developer – AI-Assisted Development in Hayward, CA. This entry-level role focuses on building web applications, internal tools, and automation while using AI-assisted tools to speed coding.

You will review AI-generated code for security, quality, and performance, and collaborate with senior developers. You will work with REST APIs, frontend frameworks, and cloud basics in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software or web development experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted dev tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex.
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code rather than accepting it without review.
• Fundamentals of HTML, CSS, REST APIs, React or Next.js, and SQL.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and basic cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, debugging, testing, documentation.
• Review, test, and validate AI-generated code before production.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Participate in agile practices and maintain technical documentation.
