Job summary

DBI Staffing is seeking a seasoned software engineer to advance AI-powered enterprise applications. You will design, build, and maintain AI agents and copilots, integrating them with existing business workflows across IT and business stakeholders.

The role requires deep experience in .NET, C#, REST APIs, and AI technologies, with a focus on secure, scalable solutions and continuous learning to stay ahead of evolving AI capabilities. Office-based in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• 5+ years application development with .NET and C#
• 2+ years building REST APIs
• 2+ years hands-on AI tech incl. prompt engineering and LLM integration
• Proficiency with agentic coding tools and AI-assisted development
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector DBs, semantic search
• Knowledge of secure coding and enterprise compliance

Responsibilities

• Develop and support scalable AI-powered features that adhere to architecture standards
• Design and maintain AI agents and copilots integrated into business workflows
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development velocity and code quality across the team
• Evaluate and integrate AI services (Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, semantic search) into apps
• Prepare technical specs, design docs, code walkthroughs, test plans and AI model docs
• Unit and integration testing of code, including AI components before QA/Production
• Collaborate with IS, analysts, PMs, stakeholders, and vendors; define requirements and explain AI capabilities/limits
• Stay current with AI landscape and apply new tools to improve operations
• Perform other duties as necessary
